How To Get Rich Pt.3: The Abundance Mindset

Copyright 2010 by macmajii -All Rights Reserved

Abundance and prosperity is really all there is.

There’s no such thing as lack or shortage. In the mind of God, it does not exist. Look around you: abundance is ALL there is! If poverty, lack and shortage were real, then nature would reflect it. And it doesn’t. Yeah, we have the occasional drought or famine here and there; but those are rare occurrences and not the norm.

When you get a chance, go home and look at your lawn. Find some grass somewhere and observe what you see. Really look, and see individual blades of grass. Try to count how many blades of grass you see. I bet you can’t! If you cannot realistically count each blade of grass that makes up a patch of ground, then you can’t convince me that lack or shortage exists. If anything, nature is profuse, almost to the point of waste, with her lavish opulence. They say there’s enough fruit that falls from the trees in the forests, and rots on the ground, that if harvested could feed the entire population of the world.

I believe in an opulent Universe. I believe in a universe of superfluous abundance; wealth that’s truly unfathomable. There’s more than enough money out here for every man, woman and child to individually be billionaires. We are all born billionaires. No one is born truly poor. Our surroundings may demonstrate poverty; your environment may be filled with the apparent evidence of widespread lack. But that’s your environment; its not YOU. YOU are born wealthy; I don’t care what your surroundings may seem to say to the contrary. Inside of you are a wealth of ideas, thoughts, potential and abilities.

You just haven’t been taught to think of yourselves in this light. So you’ve been grinding away in poverty, struggling for your daily bread; aware that life should be better than this, but not knowing how to legally get yourself into that better position.

It starts in your mind, with your thoughts and beliefs. We are either trapped, or liberated by the use of our minds. Change your thinking, change your life. It’s really that simple. Your perspective has to change before you’ll be able to see the opportunities all around you that exist for you to come up. You must come to understand that the world does not exist to serve you; you exist to serve the world.

Your mindset has to change. Success happens when you are passionately engaged in serving the world, in the way that excites and energizes you the greatest, doing what you love to do. The fact that you were born here in America is proof alone that you were intended to prosper. There’s no excuse for staying poor, when poverty only exists as a frame of mind. It’s a belief system, one based on a stingy, lack-filled universe. To stay poor when you can do better is an insult to your Creator.

People are poor because they have not yet discovered that the purpose of their lives is to serve others with their gifts and talents. They are stuck in a stingy, 'me first' mindset. The world is hostile towards you as long as you are selfish towards it. But the moment you begin to cooperate with the Universe, by being of a selfless, giving spirit, the world around you will reflect that giving attitude right back to you. It’s very metaphysical how this happens, but its very true: you can’t beat God giving!

Everyone has something that can be used to bless someone else. Without exception. You won’t know prosperity until you stop thinking about YOU, and start thinking about others. When you feel the needs of someone other than yourself, and focus on their needs and desires by using what you have that they don’t have, and serving it to them, then you will know prosperity.
It’s a simple formula:

You have a gift, a natural talent: maybe some life experiences or whatever…

There are many people all around you who would gladly pay for the knowledge, wisdom, talent and gift that you have…

Find who they are, and sell them your gift.

Whitney Houston did this, before her cracked out years, and made over a hundred million dollars! She optimized her gift through many years of practice, to get it near perfection. Then, she made it available to the public in the form of recorded music: tapes, records and cd’s. By selling (serving) her gift to an audience that wanted what she had, she gave us what we wanted (good music), and we gave her her reward (our appreciation and money).

Realize that there’s a market out there for what you have too. Everybody has something that somebody else wants or needs. See your gift as a business opportunity. Your passion is your prosperity. Get into the game of life, and really start living!

How To Get Rich Pt.2: Its All Business

Copyright 2010 by macmajii -All Rights Reserved

Everything around you is all about business. Everything. Look around you; from the computer you're using, to the table you're sitting at; even the floors you walk on, the building you're in right now, the paint on the walls; the clothes on your back; the socks on your feet...its ALL business! Somebody somewhere is making millions of dollars off the most basic, simple things; things you probably take for granted on a daily basis.

Those yellow legal notepads you use at the office; business.
Those yellow pencils you used in elementary school: business
The servers that allow you to access UPA on the internet: business.

Everything in our society is based in some way on business. You can't get away from it. The sooner you embrace the idea of being surrounded by business, the sooner you'll begin to notice the thousands of business opportunities that pass your way every single day.

The quickest way to get rich in America is by owning a business; not by working for one! Its the whole 'pimp/ho dynamic'...the one doing the pimping makes all the real money. The 'ho' trades her labor for percieved security. And thats exactly how we operate in the work place. How many people you know of go to jobs that they literally HATE; yet they get up every morning, fight their way though bullsh!t traffic to and from work, spend the best hours of the day slaving away to make some other men rich; all the while they're barely earning enough to make it week to week? And why do they do it? Because it 'pays the bills'...Its called capitalism for a reason: someone gets to capitalize off your need for security. And we all know:

Those who trade freedom for security deserve neither- Ben Franklin

If you really want to prosper in this day and age, you have to develop a business mindset. Start seeing everything around you as a business. Even on your present job; start looking at YOURSELF like a business. You're not just another employee; you're a business all by yourself. And what makes a business successful is the value it creates for others. Somebody thinks those yellow legal notepads are valuable enough; so millions are bought and sold every single week. Do an internal audit of yourself; your skills, talents and abilities. You are valuable. You by yourself are potentially worth millions, if not billions of dollars But you have to first see the value in yourself, then open up and allow others to see your value also.

Start looking around you to see what you've been missing. Those hundreds and thousands of potential business opportunities, right under your nose. Next time you lace up your kicks, remember: somebody's making millions of dollars from those shoestrings...all because they took time to observe. They saw a need, and filled it; thereby making themselves valuable in the eyes of millions of people. And what people value, they pay for. Just about any price.

You are a living, breathing, walking business. How much your 'business' is worth is totally up to you. How much value are you creating with your life? Are you sharing your life with others; or are you selfishly hoarding it all to yourself? The life thats shared is the life thats rewarded. So share your life, your experiences, your knowledge with the rest of us. We need you! The world won't be the same without you.

Your fortune in life is directly tied to your willingness and ability to share your skills and talents with the rest of us. God made it that way. If you're broke, its because you've been selfish. You haven't given out what God has placed in you to share. He put a business in you; one that should be shared with the world...or at least your little part of it.

Most of us were never taught to think like this. We didn't see the true value of our lives. We thought we were here just to make a few dollars, have lots of good sex, and thats it. But there's a greater purpose to your life. You are actually NEEDED in this world! God placed something in you that nobody else has BUT YOU...and if you don't leave it behind, the world will be forced to do without it. Sobering thought...What if the man who invented open heart surgery, or heart transplants, never put that knowledge out for the world to benefit from? What if the person who invented seatbelts decided instead not to? I could go on; but the point is simple: your life has value. Its not just for the purpose of cheap sex and a quick dollar.

You're on a mission. You have a mandate from your creator, and its one you canNOT ignore. You have something of intense value tucked away inside of you. Its your job to find out what that is, and create a business around delivering it to the rest of the world. Do this, and your wealth is guaranteed.

Other Indicators of Your Passion

Other indicators of your passion:

You do it already on the side, probably as a hobbie.

People tell you how good you are at it.

You find yourself drawn to it, almost like an internal magnetic pull on your Soul.

Its something that really gets you excited and worked up.

You can spend hours doing it, or engaging in it.

If money was no longer a need in your life, its the one thing you would do as much and as often as you can.

You do it so easy that you take it for granted.

It comes natural to you, almost like its 2nd nature.

You're a damn genius at it! You may not be the smartest person when it comes to math or english; but when it comes to THIS, you're virtually unbeatable.

Passion doesn't have to be something that makes sense to everybody else. IT only has to make sense to YOU. There's a dude I read about a few years back...from Singapore or something...and this dude is a video game fanatic! Whenever he got home from work, all he wanted to do was play video games till the early morning hours. He would buy a game, then stay up all night trying to beat it. He got so good at it that he had pretty much played every popular game out there. And thats when he had an 'Aha' moment.

He started a small website that shows video gamers how to beat certain games. Gives them the cheat codes and everything. Word got out and he started getting crazy traffic to his website. Then, the game companies came calling. This guy now works from home...at his bigscreen plasma tv set...getting paid to play and beat new games before they hit the market...He no longer works a traditional job. And why should he? He now earns over $600,000 a year doing what he's passionate about: playing video games.

Your passion is the key to your success in life. Don't be afraid to follow your own inner compass. Dare to follow it wherever it might lead you.

In the deeper spiritual aspect of passion...Your passion is actually God in you, seeking to live His Life through you, AS you...

I know that sounds a bit deep, but let it marinate. God lives His life through us in the form of our passions, melting His life into ours. He does this so that through you and me and every other person on Earth, He can solve the problems that we all face.

On Finding Your Passion...

On finding your passion...

I read a lot of books. Theres one by this preacher named Mike Murdock, and its called "The Law of Recognition". The premise of the book is that everything you need is already in your life merely awaiting your recognition of it. Excellent read.

(You can't buy it in the bookstore; you have to order it online.)

Entrepreneurship is the only way to big financial wealth. And entrepreneurs are basically just problem solvers. Every person who ever started a business did so as a way of solving a problem. The bigger the problem that effects the biggest number of people, the bigger the potential pay-off. Some examples:

Bill Gates started Microsoft as a way to solve the problem of an easy to use operating system for computers. He gambled that computers would become a really big thing, at a time when the average person didn't know what the hell a computer was. And computers have to have an operating system that anyone could understand and use. So he built a business around assembling the best software talent and cornered the market on software systems...for the world! He solved a big problem that effects billions of people; thats why he's the richest man on the planet.

Michael Dell- started fixing computers as a hobby while in college. Wasn't even looking to start a business...he just had a passion for computers. One day he ran an ad in a small obscure magazine for computer tekkies, offering computer repairs. He got such a huge response that pretty soon he was earning over $50000a month...from his dorm room...at 19! This was back in the late 70's early 80's! He saw a huge opportunity for building computers from scratch for the common man, cutting out the middle man and selling direct to the public. He was billionaire by his early 30's.

Suge Knight saw a need for some topnotch gangster hip hop music. I don't know how much of an actual 'need' it was; but he saw an opportunity and decided to fill that void in the rap game. He put together a sick production team...Dr.Dre, Snoop, Kurupt, BMX, the Dogg Pound...and of course Tupac. Void filled, need met, Suge was worth at one time close to $300 MILLION! Whether you agree with his tactics or not, the man followed the principles for building wealth...and it worked.

There's so many others...too many to name. But the examples are all around us, big and small.

Find your passion...really look for it. Its there. Its literally right under your nose.

Opportunities for creating huge fortunes and small ones are all around us. The world is full of problems that need solving. Just watch the nightly news. Finding one of these problems to solve, the one that motivates you the most and matches your skills and abilities, is how you get wealthy. Problem solvers are always in high demand. Just ask Bill Gates and Michael Dell.

Happy hunting...

How To Get Rich Pt.1: Find Your Passion

Copyright 2010 by macmajii -All Rights Reserved

I want to try and do this as a series. I think its important that young brothers and sisters get into the game of life in a major way.

The number one secret to getting rich is to find your passion in life.

You have a set of skills and a talent that comes natural to you. Its something that God bestowed upon you. He gave it to you for the purpose of you discovering it, making it better, then using it to help and bless others. Your number one task in life is finding what that talent is.

There are clues to finding it out. Answer this:
What is something that you are really passionate about? Something that you love to do so much that time literally flies by when you're doing it?

Whats something that comes easy for you to do, that other people find hard to do...but for you its a cinch? Its probably something that you take for granted. I remember hearing JayZ say that rappin was something that came so easy for him to do that he took it for granted. He would just battle dudes up on the block for fun. One day his mom heard him and was like," You need to do something with that skill". So Jay and his friends put some money together, went into the studio, pressed up some cd's and formed Rockafella Records. And the rest, as they say, is history.

JayZ found his passion. He discovered his one great talent, and put it to work for the enjoyment of somebody other than just himself.
You have a talent too. It may not be rhyming. You may have a natural gift for speaking. It maybe writing, singing, drawing, or you may be good with numbers. Maybe you have a knack for making plain things better. You'd be surprised how you can use a skill like that at flipping houses or fixing up cars. The dude that owned West Coast Customs...from Pimp My Ride...had a talent for tricking out cars. He found his passion for fixing up cars and trucks, and turned it into a business that grosses close to $10million bucks a year! 10 MILLION!

Never underestimate the importance of your passion. You just have to discover it.

I can even use Tariq as an example. He obviously has a natural gift for talking. And he's passionate about helping dudes find their own inner Mack. He put the two together, and the man now earns a ton of money from using his passion to cure dudes from their simpish ways. This one great passion of his has taken him to being a best-selling author...put on him on television numerous times...given him radio interviews across the country...and afforded him a lifestyle to his own designing and making. Thats the power of discovering one's passion.

Your passion is your ticket to wealth and prosperity. By using it to make someone else's life better, you too will forge your own path to riches. Its the one thing that all super wealthy men and women say: they love what they do. What do you love? What stirs your passions when you think about it? What do you do so easily and naturally, that you can literally do it for hours without even realising how fast the time flies by?

Whatever the answer is, thats your one great talent and passion that God has given you. Next, we'll discuss how to use it to bring true wealth into your life...
